Bob (above) did his best to contain his excitement on meeting at last his long-time fan, Leo Biblitz, who was hired to keep First Lady Michelle Obama and her upper arms amused at a special White House concert Feb. 10/10 while the Chief went off to do presidential things as one must when running a country. Money must be printed and so on. Workout Routines and Exercises Bob, in the meantime, sang his injured heart out, a generous performer always, still writing timeless melodies and lyrics and playing now with the best band he's ever had. It's sometimes hard to recall his tender love and protest songs with so many barbs almost invariably aimed at women during his otherwise excellent radio show. Further evidence that getting old is no picnic, if more was required. Bob Dylan's Theme Time Radio Hour, featuring selections from his personal collection of musical favorites, airs on Sirius/XM Spectrum 18 Sunday 3-5 p.m. (PT) and again Wednesday on Deep Tracks 16 at 8 a.m. (PT). A forgiving Biblitz listens earnestly especially for the poems that conclude each episode.

Where's Bob on his neverending 2010 tour?

The first dates have been announced and more will be released soon.' No idea yet whether he'll make it to Vancouver, B.C., though he is good pals with Elvis Costello, a frequent caller on Theme Time who lives with spouse Diana Krall on Vancouver Island.
